Materials
Organic Cotton.
Organic cotton is another great eco-friendly fiber. All our organic cotton is certified by GOTS, this means that you can have the confidence that is grown without the use of pesticides, herbicides or other chemical fertilizers and is simply better for your health and the environment. Traditional cotton uses insecticides than any other crop. Research has shown that this can affect severely soil water, water and human health.
Recycled Cotton.
Recycled cotton is defined as the transformation of a cotton fabric into cotton fiber that can be used in textile products. It can be also known as regenerated cotton. The recycled cotton can include recycled raw material and used, reconditioned, and re-manufactured components.
Elastane.
Elastane is also known as spandex. It’s a man made elastic fiber. We have decided to include the most recent eco friendly version of elastane from biological origin which is 70% made of renewable dextrose that comes from the corn. We want to contribute lessing the carbon foot print in the environment.
